One and one
become two.
A Prime number.

The world revolves
around two.
It’s form is perfect.

Until one and one
unite and make one.
Then they are three.

Three is divine,
another special number
that cannot be divided.

Soon one and one
add one to their one.
And then there are four.

Four is not prime.
But it’s the loveliest number,
two have ever seen.

The equation is complete
all numbers joined in place.
A solution to the algorithm.

Or so it seems…

Too soon one leaves,
and the other shall follow in
footprints of the first.

Now there are only two,
yearning to remember,
how to become one again.
